The whitest boy alive

Yesterday, I got a call from a friend. She had a ticket for “the whitest boy alive” concert in the evening, so I had to be spontaneous…actually I had a very important presentation at work on the next day (today), where they decided if I get money for the next 9 month or not. Thus there was the important question: Career or fun? ... I went to the concert! It was so much fun. The venue was an old festival hall, which was cozy and had a second floor around the dance floor. Since the gallery was already completely crowded when we arrived, we squeezed together with the others on the dance floor. It was freaking hot, but a very nice crowd. I saw the whitest boy alive for the second time and it was even better than my first experience. By the way, their song “Keep a secret” is my favorite, since I had Noro virus a week before…you may remember my post: Japanese dinner…yeah, I had fantastic sushi, lovely friends around and what I didn’t tell you: Noro virus! I spent the entire weekend on the toilette, because you’re not able to “keep any secretion”! Suddenly, my friends heard the “Keep a secret” song and the whole song got a new meaning. Here are some passages andsee the youtube link above: Can you keep a secret? Honestly no!...sooner or later the volcanoes crater… I can’t keep it inside!
By the way, I got the money too, yipppeeeehhhh! So keep in mind: Why decide when you can have both!

Japanese Dinner

Yesterday, I had an awesome Japanese dinner with sushi, yakitori and soybeans. I had some friends around and decided to order some Japanese dishes at a deli shop close to my apartment. A friend recommended that little shop. I had no expectations when I entered the shop, since there are usually no original Japanese people around and the food is Japanese style only. Suddenly, I heard one of the girls saying: “so desu ka”…yeah, real Japanese!!! Thus, I said that I want to have some Japanese stuff for 6 people. I wanted to be careful and said 10 Euro each. So, I was afraid that there will be enough food for everyone. When I picked up the stuff, I couldn’t believe what I saw: real Japanese sushi in real Japanese sizes….awesome! I got 6 huge plates (three with different sushi, one with fried chicken, one with yakitori and one with soybeans). Unbelievable! The quality and the taste were excellent and so Japanese. This was not the last time that I ordered food at the “smart deli”!
